"Sure, Shherlock could have ssent it, but that means he has boughht
another phone and been behaving as her when he has not been awarre." Sherlock has boxes of burner phones; that's no problem for him.

While I sometimes get a bit peeved when Genevieve reviews an episode not by what's in it but by what should be in it, she usually makes makes valid points.
<“But message received. We will all put rubber sheets on our mattresses.” I can only guess why this was an aspect of this case, but it can be very satisfying to see…
"And be able to guess that the guy obsessed with his first plane might use that as his PIN." Sherlock wasn't at that interview, just Marcus—Sherlock was braking in to the guy's office—so he wouldn't have seen the jet obsession. However, you're right right that Sherlock seemed to be too ready to accept Roy's guilt.
This stuff maybe spoilerish, It's from TV Line and it has some relevance to Genevieve's musings on the Sherlock/Joan relationship:
"That cab driver got an earful about the $$$ history of a prestidigitation tell-all in connection with an open murder case, didn’t they?" On black-ish S1 E15 opens with a similar premise:
"See also: The melon, which is an incredibly embarrassing moment that
Joan has to deal with for some reason, but it also one of the best
time-crunch workarounds this show’s ever managed." This was just after the taxi ride where Sherlock magically made her credit card reappear—so he still had no money, so naturally…
In the promo, Roy asks if Chantal said it was him and the reply was she hadn't said anything, implying she's a live but unresponsive. The promo also seemed to imply that Chantal's assault was a part of something bigger than the Marcus-Chantal-Roy triangle so not-quite-fridging, but what the hell? Indeed, why go there?…
This episode made me up my grade for "Dead Man's Tale" to an A. I like Genevieve's review for "High Heat" better than the show itself. She pointed out all the good stuff in it and was a bit more entertaining. In case Elementary gets cancelled, Lucy Liu will be back solo next season as "Joan Watson, Detective" with Dan…
Plus the call-out to other Sherlocks. Gene Wilder wrote, directed and starred in The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother. He was Sigerson Holmes, younger brother of Douglas Wilmer's Sherlock. Also, Peter Carey's skewering was used earlier this season—the guy who was pinned to the wall with the poker.
Your point 1) Agree completely. But the farther away from the show's premise her B-story is, the more it will seem like filler. Yes, more Ms.Hudson! Since she's a Greek interpreter, I'd like to see her return in a variation on that story. Let's not have Ms. H and Joan sitting in the kitchen failing the Bechdel test—I…
There is this very brilliant post at the I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere website about Mycroft and Morland Holmes and Doyle's Mycroft that discusses what the show did with their characters based on Doyle. They are actually closer than you think. http://www.ihearofsherlock…. The guy who wrote it—I forget his name—seems…
Not stupid. It's what people do. You're watching a video you believe is real and you hear the word "kammie", which is a word in Farsi, so you've just had your belief in the video upped: "Hey, someone just spoke Farsi in in the video file. It must be real. I'll that's some scientist saying you only need a little…
"The Fidel Files Startling Contents". Sherlock watching his many TVs with the Cuban flag and the red-headed DIA guy on the screens.
Who orders both pizza and pasta? With Kitty's loose wardrobe, I was expecting dinner for three in an entirely different sense.
I particularly like JLM's look of horror when Kitty tells Sherlock that the extra food she ordered is for unexpected guests and—oh here they are now.
yeah but Elementary only had two. I lost count with BBC Sherlock, certainly all the major characters, though they all weren't suited up. *shaking my head in disbelief*
"Forget it, Jake. It’s Elementarytown." My new favorite quote. I am also quite happy with the serendipitous juxtaposition of Sherlock cozy to Spectre-meets-Joker-run-Arkham-Aslylum BBC Sherlock palate cleanser.
I am very happy to have you and your reviews of Elementary back. I hope you'll be able to shoehorn S5 E1 in somewhere.
Dear Genevieve, thanks for the always thoughtful and insightful reviews of a show that gets short shrift inside the Sherlockian community and not enough recognition for the great acting and good writing in the TV community at large. This season of Elementary is my second favorite, right after the first season. I liked…
