Absolutely. It’s a CAR , ffs. And it’s a beautiful expression of man’s ability to create wonderful stuff regardless of the political, cultural, or social, climate. .

Im definitely no apologist, but I think being an industrialist in nazi-era Germany would put one in a situation where you’re damned if you don’t: Kiss Hitler’s ass, Be a ‘friend’ of Hitler’s, Openly commit to ‘making Germany great again’ and so on...
My read on this is not that they won’t build more than 2, it is just that they don’t. With all the different options available the possible combinations quickly exceed the number produced annually. Getting more than 2 that are EXACTLY the same gets harder.
Considering that at a normal production plant, ANY added thing is “adding complexity” to the plant operation, which adds cost/time to the build and you will get a bunch of hate email from the plant engineering team. Programs make a huge deal about it.
From a build sheet perspective, yes.
There are 24 variants of the 911.
On principle (and paper), the turbo 4 is a great engine for these smaller Porsches.
Until the ‘Vette has to take a corner.
Nope you are not alone. I hope the flat 4 drops to current egg eye prices faster than the prior generations. I just want a fast car for not much money and am not offended by a water cooled flat 4 in a Porsche.
I get they had to take day jobs (SUV’s, and the Pigamera) to support their costly passion (911, Boxter family), but the 4-cyl-only Boxter was a bridge too far. Good on them for starting the long walk back.
Am I the only one hoping the 718 becomes undesirable and I will finally be able to buy a fairly newish Porsche for a spouse understanding price?
Good.
Ironic, the purists would never have allowed the Boxer or Cayman to exist.
Funny trump is not targeting wealthy Russian birthright tourists, who flock to Trump properties to just for the explicit purpose of giving birth to American babies. I had no idea this was even a thing people did.
By claiming they were conceived on the Appalachian Trail :)
How does this effect the emigration status of the children of his Argentinian sidepiece?
Mike Pence looks like something an understudy at a wax museum would make, and then get a C+ for.
I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking about how incongruous it is for a main who refers to his wife as “mother” to say “aint.” You don’t have the credibility, Mike, you don’t have the sauce.
I bet he really enunciated the word “ain’t.”
