Yeah, I think someone hasn't really listened to that album, not in a long time. It's pretty dark.

yes! Achtung Baby is a serious, non-ironic album, despite a bit of dance music getting into the sound. It's more the detached, trite irony of much of Pop (and some of Zooropa) that's repellent.

So…Rotten Tomatoes user ratings are the gold standard, and the critics are "wrong"? GAWD no.
