It is an attractive offer, but there are several aldermen trying to force a vote. The offer is by no means firm.

I say this every time: as a St. Louisan, I want them gone. I don’t want my city and state on the hook for half a billion dollars. I don’t want people pushed out of their homes to make way for a new stadium. I don’t want Jay Nixon or Francis Slay to win this round.

As a St. Louisan, I would like the Rams gone quickly, before our cash-strapped region foots the bill on a new stadium. I like the Rams and I've been to some games, but I'd rather not get our city half a billion in the hole for an owner that's still gonna jet as soon as he can anyway.
