My understanding is that spray foam insulation is a poor choice for a #vanlife van as condensation from temperature differential and cooking, breathing, etc can get trapped in the foam and cause severe rust on the panels.
Good insulation and moisture barrier cost a pretty penny. However, even factoring in the material cost, the price is absolutely ridiculous. CP.
Exhaust gas heats up bike tire. Re vulcanizes the rubber. Rubber separates from casing. Tire usually explodes by the time you get there. Not ideal.
For someone like me, the centrally mounted exhaust on the Civic is a big deal breaker.
I have also seem exhaust heat up bike tire to the point where it simply de laminates from the casing. Yeah. No thanks...
Couple of weeks ago, I left my car unlocked on the driveway for one day. (I was swapping out the clutch master cylinder. It ran late. I must have forgot to lock it when I went inside for the day) The next day I came out to see everything tossed out from the glove compartment. (Nothing stolen. Didn’t leave anything of…
They are always referred to as kyung-un-ki, which translates to light hauling machine. They are absolutely ubiquitous in farming villages.

When things come to a crawl, just leave a bit of gap in front. Often the gap doesn’t even need to be much. One or two car length is often enough to smooth things out discourage others from cutting in or out. Most people realize they are stuck in the same traffic anyways. (or rather they ARE the traffic)
Is VR going to fix that shitty inverted surface with gaps?
Kia at the time had a deal with Lotus to tune their suspension. They also helped in development of their 1.8 engines as well. This was right around the same time they were producing the Kia Elan which is a Lotus Elan with Lotus tuned Kia 1.8
Is that cage covered in... pool noodles?! It sure does not like FIA approved hard foam padding to me.
When inevitably the said car is crashed and the engine gets thrown out of the vehicle by the force of the crash.
‘gomul’ literally translated to ‘old stuff’ or scrap. It does not mean poop in Korean.
This.
It’s not too long ago when Kia got bought out by Hyundai so there are still some intra-corporate tension and politics remaining. because of that, Kia factories keep Hyundais from parking in their spot. What’s even funnier is that in Hyundai factories, parking your Kia is no problem whatsoever. Because of that,…
Doug, as I mentioned on Youtube, we get five domestic makers in Korea: Hyundai and Kia (Most people abbreviate them as Hyun-Ki), GM Korea (Formerly called ‘Daewoo’ and sells car under Chevrolet Marque, even some European models such as Opel Captiva), Renault Samsung (the SM3 XE16 is a rebadged Nissan Bluebird/Sentra,…
Also keep in mind that large portion of the country’s population lives in four major metropolitan areas and you really do not want to drive in any of them. Seriously, my dad’s 2007 Hyundai Sonata has 80,000 km on it. It takes him 15 minutes to get to work on a subway, 30 minutes by a bike and 40 minutes by a car (I…
