Agreed. I have had no less than 6 operations in the past 12 months due to a very serious health condition. I trust my surgeon implicitly. If music helps him do his job, who am I to judge? As long as the sick parts get cut out and the good parts sewn back together, I am a satisfied patient.

ORs aren’t that loud. The best comparison I have is to how loud the dentist’s exam room is. Sure it gets louder when a drill is running for a minute or two, and there’s the occasional sound of suction, but all in all it’s actually pretty quiet.
