Discipline yourself to not buy things you do not need or will not use: practice not buying anything when you leave your house. Do not allow clutter

I bought a portable washing machine with a spinner (extractor) that wrings out the laundry. I got it for under $200 about 3+ years ago and it has definitely served me well.

I don’t like the clutter of home screen shortcuts. I use a mini-launcher that pops out of the edge of the screen, instead. This affords enjoyment of the home screen wallpaper and provides rapid access to often-used apps.

Another reason why I cook and bake my own food at home: it is substantially healthier.
