Also 1974 thriller from wannabe-Hammer studio Amicus The Beast Must Die! It is not as good as it sounds, but it is not canceraids. (There is a messed-up people hunting opening...)

What is the best Captain Beefheart lp? I will judge you for your response, whatever it is!
I think I can block him, but I can’t! I don’t like his stoiyl.
Harley Quinn the Eskimo
I am on board for all of this in general, but the table leg on hopalong Barbie looks pretty rough.
So just take the money and still vote against Trump, right?
Do not put Vicks on your scroat. Just don’t. Even as a joke. I wish someone would have told me this 20 years ago.
“I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum...”
That riff in the middle of Meglomania is so great too! I can hear the cowbell now!
Sabotage was fantastic! I feel like you could have cobbled together a good record between Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die. Heaven and Hell is a killer record too - though a pretty different band.
Obviously the whole band was great, and I love Bill’s drumming. The vocal melodies are generally copied off the riff - Electric Funeral, Hand of Doom are good early examples. The songwriting is incredible, and I am sure they all contributed. But Tony’s riffs and Geezer’s bass and lyrics make up so much of what is…
Hey! It’s Ozzy! Also known as the least-talented original member of Black Sabbath - the original singer who wasn’t as good as his replacement! (I do love the Ozzy-era albums, but this band was Tony and Geezer for the most part (and his good solo stuff is good because of ghostwriters/ Randy Rhoads). I would like to see…
Damn straight. Judas Priest not being in there invalidates the entire exercise / hall. And I mean, wtf else does Iron Maiden need to do? Idiotic.
R&R HoF didn’t let in Dave Matthews even though he won the fan vote with over 1 million votes. Suck it, fans of frat party date rape music and gross hippie chicks from the 90's who now work in HR! (T. Rex got in which is cool AF)
I get that this is a bad look, but it barely registers on my rage-o-meter. Past behavior of King has been very charitable in many ways, speaks truth to power on Trump and his ilk. He saw how it looked bad and basically came to his senses. No need to crucify him for this - there is no trend here.
Color Kittens is adorable! Brush and Hush! Brown’s best story imho is the pretty subversive/ insane tale: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/margaret-wise-brown/the-steamroller/
As a 40-ish white male, you are correct, and it is this simple. I feel like many white people my age and younger get this. But oldass white people with money and power won’t even give us the time of day and will fight to the death to keep every non-white and non-rich person down. Keep fighting the good fight, and I’ll…
Alcohol is cheaper and much more convenient than physical or mental health care.
Still a couple good blues clubs but it is dead for the most part. I still get a fair amount of shows in the Chain o’ lakes area (up near WI border) but it is a race to the bottom. Classic rock tributes for the oldsters in Florida is blowing up I understand, but I’m not too tempted by that.
The money really isn’t there for bar or club gigs at this point - unless you want to do an acoustic duo and you’d still be lucky to make over $100 a night. In Chicago area anyways, may be better in FL or on the coasts.
