Yeah that was pretty idiotic. I had extremely low expectations for that version and I was still disappointed.
Last Man on Earth is on tonight, thinking of watching it for the umpteenth time - I think it could be a great film with the right edits. Three versions of Matheson’s I am Legend and none of ‘em are very good. I’ll watch In My Room at some point though, I am a sucker for this old conceit.
I am glad we shared this time together.
It appears you are as humorless as this film. Go away.
*ever lol
Yeah because that invalidates everything else said. You’re one step above grammar nazi here for an honest mistake.
Thank you for the thoughtful article. Now let’s all sit back and watch the nerds froth at the mouth.
He was sort of the Parker/Stone of his day where he trolled everyone and wanted to push everyone’s buttons all the time. But even he said he didn’t want to have lyrics or vocals at all, but since he had to do them he would make them outlandish and only cater to himself/ not try to connect with others (love songs, etc.)
“Leads - yeah, we got leads! They got us working in shifts! Leads...”

Kirk fucking Cousins versus the Bears defense? Looks like you need your head examined again, Drew my friend. Look for losses three and four in a row this season.
What if they used the toilet water...on plants?
Yeah, and never jump in leaf piles/ drive / ride through them. There is usually a fire hydrant or big rock or mailbox or some damn thing...
“Live by the sword and help to contain
I like it - it invokes Tom Waits’ Small Change. A few records in and you strip it all the way down to the basic essence of the artist to bring out the power. Still prefer Ultraviolence but this is so much better than the last record w/ the failed hip-hop experiments.
Paging Leonard Pierce... IMHO this album does have that sweet Laurel Canyon sound
I got a “You need to get this car off the road before you kill yourself or someone else!” So my ‘78 Volare still ran great and I could see the road everywhere I went! Who needs a frame anyways...
