Jim Glickenhaus is my hero.
Jim Glickenhaus is my hero.
Glick is all of us, if we were kajillionaires
Looks remind me of a spider with those headlights as eyes, fenders as raised front legs, and the tubing supporting the bumper as the fangs. Not attractive, but I think it’s pretty cool and a nice expansion of the range of vehicles they’re producing.
Love this guy. If you’re going to have a successful career and make an absolute shit-load of cash why not spend it on making something awesome?
He does have a Ferrari tie-in, they supplied motors for the endurance racer he built a year or two ago.
It does come in a 4 door. It has plenty of luggage space. With it’s base 650HP LT4 or optional LT 5 it should be pretty quick. If you don’t order the optional leather you can wash the interior out with a garden hose. It will be fine on the road. 2019’s are sold out but a few 2020 slots are available for racing or…
Ferrari doesn’t own the name Scuderia. Scuderia is just Italian for team. What about Scuderia Torro Rosso? (Which btw is based in Faenza, Italy)
“It’s also called on Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz to race the Urus, Cullinan and G-Wagen in the stock SUV class with the Boot. Shots fired!”
We’ll have 15 production bays there which means that as it takes us about one week to build a car we could build about 750 cars a year there. But wait we’re only allowed to build 325 cars a year as an approved NHTSA low volume manufacturer. Does that mean in let’s say three years we’ll have fully crash tested…
You’re joking right? SCG builds it’s 003S and will build it’s 004S in The US. As for the NSX we look forward to racing it’s GT3 version in November with our 003C at COTA.
LOL what is wrong with you? You sound super duper butthurt over something that has literally nothing to do with you.
Turning issues were myth. PF never adjusted the suspension properly and the shocks were dead after their stint when Modulo was a 612 Can Am. We rebuilt the shocks, adjusted the suspension and set the proper ride height. This final work was done by Sal in New York before her first drive with wheel covers. MAT had…
Thank you Mr. Glickenhaus. You’re living the best life, and I’m just happy to have a bit of vicarious insight into some of it because of how much of your passion you share with the world.
Yes. High temperature resin inlets to snort fuel.
They do rot in many museums. Many old cars were not built to last. Bi Metallic corrosion, Batteries that turn to lethal goop. I could go on. There is the other matter that cars that are not exercised turn to dust. Entropy never sleeps either. The good news here is that those who don’t like what I do don’t have to go…
Thanks.
Tru dat.
Sal Barone who has managed my collection and restored all of my cars for over 40 years was project leader on Modulo’s restoration. He was in charge. He used several sources to help him. MAT was simply one of them. MAT had nothing to do with getting Modulo’s engine to run again. Sal and Sport Auto Modena did that. MAT…
Because racecar. Seriously, it’s built on an old race car, and that’s how the sports racers were in the 60s. The Ferraris, Ford GT40, Porsche 917. Why? Because the majority of race circuits are run clockwise, so the majority of the turns are right hand, so it is better to have the driver on the right.
What are those clear tubes coming up off the top of the motor? Bongs?
