There's one of the two reasons why they shouldn't have killed off Helena, she was our window into the cult side of the story. Without her I don't see how that'll ever get as interesting as the science side of the story.
The other reason is that Helena was an awesome character.

Don't be stupid.
It's an anthology series with new characters each year, you'd need at least six seasons and a movie to do justice to that gem of a character.

Don't blame me, I voted for the sketch comedy overlords.

He's also pretty much in control of the frigid north. Roose mentioned that since Balon controls Moat Cailan they can't move any armies between the North and South.
So yeah, Balon is doing really well so far.

Didn't they walk back on Abel Gideon though? Unless I missed something season one where they mentioned his survival?
They could make it a running joke, every season Chilton almost dies but comes back the next season with an even gaudier pimp cane.

No, he's The Bishop because he gets results!

… No one knows her name?
Yeah, she wont make it out of the season.

Let's not make silly jokes here.
All David Bowie songs would have been a great theme song.

A shrine of Will Graham made out of really nice suits.
Bev was shocked that Hannibal would allow such beautiful items to go unworn.

Someone's hungry for hashtags.

But we can theorise; wildly, insanely theorise.
If it was just a bunch of dead bodies then they would have shown it this episode. They're building it as a surprise because…
It's Abigail! She's still alive. Hannibal's just been hacking bits off of her when he's hungry. At the end Will will save her and be a hero.

I actually counted to make sure you did enough H's.

Well played sir. I guess I just got thoroughly school'd.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go weep into my Farscape/Cowboy Bebop slash fiction.

Please, Cowboy Bebop did Firefly better and did it first.
That's how the sentence is meant to go.

(obligatory reply from an Australian who for once is here when your comment goes up)

She was an Australian writer who wrote a bunch of great books, all really well reviewed, but they never sold. She lived most of her life in poverty.

I just finished reading David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest. It was good but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Now I'm reading Christina Stead's Letty Fox: Her Story. And I would recommend everyone read something by Christina Stead because she's brilliant and not nearly as well known as she should be.
