And here we are in 2016 watching a video of super dense batteries exploding. I

Perhaps another reader has already commented that the 996 Turbo does not share the engine that may suffer the IMS failure. It utilizes the legendary Metzler designed engine used in various Porsche competition models.

Bought a 996 Turbo when the economy tanked. It was a great bargain then, and they are still a pretty good deal now.

These things are amazing. You can drive with the top down at 30* and be perfectly toasty at highway speeds with the top down.
