I thought Last Jedi, while having a weak second act, is one of the best efforts in the Star Wars franchise.
Rogue One has the best space battles in Star Wars but is otherwise underwritten dogshit and I do not understand its reputation.

And while you’re at it HBO also hopes that disappointment with the final season didn’t cause you to look at previous seasons with a more-critical, less-enamoured eye and realize that maybe the show had been seriously flawed for a long time but the sunk-cost fallacy had driven you to excuse its many, many failings for…
When I think of ILM I think about how they’ve systematically fired all their career employees and done their best to replace them all with temporary contract workers with no job security or benefits.
But yeah, sure, they do this shit too.
Looks alright but Christ this trailer did not need to be three minutes long.
I played this game for hours upon hours as a kid, and while I totally recognize my nostalgia goggles I have a real hard time reading this and not getting angry at this slagging of my favourite game.
This is not, I have to confess, a rational response.
By fourteen, they put him in charge of seven kingdoms.
Wh... why?
Starship Titanic, a game I am often convinced I am the only person alive who ever played it.
Mad Max is so close to being a truly great game - you can see all the pieces there, but they just lack polish. Its systems all work well but long before the halfway point of the game you can have unlocked the entire skill tree…
One fascist poem is enough to satiate the hungriest of manchildren.
As a visually impaired person I drive my housemate a little crazy with things like dust because I genuinely don’t see it.

“When we see the Ghost soar into view as Lando and the rest of his gathered citizen’s flotilla jumps into the battle above Exegol in The Rise of Skywalker, we never get to see if it’s Hera behind the controls of her beloved ship”
The incoherent cinematography didn’t help matters.
I’ve done Dark Knight up to 60 at this point, and I’d say the HEavensward 50-60 section is very good.
The early stuff.... ehhhhh... is very ambitious and wants to be profound, but whose profundity is undermined is bungled through awkward execution. Part of it is a problem of character - being constantly told by Fray…
Given the quality of Star Trek over the last ten, fifteen years, I think it would be really neat if all of it stopped happening for a while, preferably long enough for the desire to turn it into pretentious Gritty Prestige Drama What Fucks And Swears to die off and never come back ever.

I got to visit his house on a tour in Hollywoo! He had so many horse pictures.
I loved, loved, loved Firefly the first time I watched it, and loved it less on every subsequent rewatch as I got older.
