What about that new Protestantism Robot the Germans just built?

Like that stoner is capable of basic motor functions, much less murder.

Just kidding: I did it for the kicks.

I did it for her.

I beg your pardon?

The events in The Answer did not happen while Pink Diamond was still alive. That's why Blue Diamond was on Earth - taking over for Pink Diamond.

I'm just going to cut right to the chase here before people work themselves up into a further lather:

Oh, I see. Mm - it's a valid reading, but it's her behaviour before Blue Zircon starts talking that flags 'kangaroo court' for me.

That's a shame. The firs season's weak, but season 2 is fun and season 3 is some of the best television ever made, no joke. I rank it up there with ATLA (which also has a weak first season, come to think of it.)

The Trial was a crushing disappointment because it wasn't th extended Kafka homage I wanted. It STARTED like that with Steven's formless cell but then it just became full of characters and everything made sense.

Why does the hat smell like cardamom?

It's why I'm being prosecuted for corporate espionage.

… I don't follow. (Also, Yellow is volubly endorsing Green Zircon's case in a manner that just screams 'cover up.')

I wasn't, actually. I was assuming Yellow Diamond did it, or at least ordered it done, given Yellow's reaction to the story. I didn't even think of Pearl at the time because the way I heard the narration I thought thy were saying that the guards let someone through they wouldn't think to check (i.e. someone who had

"She doesn't do it to escape fear."

"However, no ape has mastered the subtleties of syntax and grammar, meaning even the most adept communicators are closer to Scooby than Scrappy."

I like the IDEA of it, but their criteria is absurd: everyone who surrender to them today was afraid, Bill really only passes because she's in the title cards (even the way the actress play the scene she is clearly overwhelmed with fear for the Doctor.)

Nope, just drinkers.

Mid-way through this episode I turned to m friend and said "the villains' plans are stupid, right?" and at that point we both checked-out. The concept is good, but their whole 'you can't come to us afraid' is… so utterly stupid that I can only imagine a sea of dead worlds these people have left in their wake because

Hopefully there's a pipeline leak, killing the local wildlife, destroying the land, and running this festival out of business.
