I have long struggled with the death penalty. Life in prison without the chance for parole should be enough in most cases, however in the case of Mr. Roof I feel that yeah he needs to go. He was invited and killed them. He reloaded while people lay dying. Did I mention he was fed after being captured? He has been

“They don’t build them like they used to.”

Yes you posted this better than I did. They stopped, started, braked, and handled like garbage. their build quality was terrifying.

Tesla in general have a lot of detractors, especially from the auto journos, so I don’t really see where that hype is, other than from a bunch of Musk’s cult followers who aren’t the majority of Tesla buyers.

American muscle cars of the 60's and early 70s.

I’ll second this. As basic as electric transportation gets, not at all attractive and an interior only a psychotic could love. Yet it’s average owner thinks they are driving a Bugatti with Toyota quality and Jaguar looks.

truck engine (I know its different, but is it really?)

The C5 Z06 might be the most underrated car ever. Nothing that cheap is that fast around a track. It wasn’t designed to be of art it was designed to go fast and be cheap to build.

Tesla Model 3. It has some weird halo effect despite being ugly and having a bargain basement interior... And that's before getting into the quality issues. It drives fine, it's fast, and electric... But since when does that get it a free pass when it also costs $50k?

Seriously, at least put a little effort into a car you’re trying to sell for 35k. I know they probably don’t have time, which is why they’re getting rid of the car, but come on. Take it in for a service, even if it’s not a major one. Fix that bumper. Address the windows. Make someone who was looking at $60k Ferraris

Remember to apply sunscreen before heading out in this.

If you really want a Ferrari and can only afford a $35k Ferrari, you can’t afford a Ferrari. No Dice.

I know there is going to be a difference of opinion here, but I’m going to lob this out - GIGANTIC WING OR DIE!

Needs a wing.

We should have been more precise in our language around the Delica and ‘mini-trucks,’ but regardless, the underlying statute is what is being followed.””

My mechanic has not had time to work on this car

I’m tempted but only because the fuel system bugbears don’t really scare me that much.

Just poured in some gas and fired it up huh?

Thirty year old Merc? $5000 is just the down payment on the infinite ongoing cost. Buying this thing would be like taking out another mortgage.

Building a diesel Scirocco is like replacing your testicles with racketballs.
