That’s my biggest beef with this list, too. Unless your parents are both very loaded and irresponsible, there’s no way in hell you’re spending $25k on your first car. I spent over $5k on my first car in high school in 2005 (a Maxima!), and that almost seemed at the upper end of responsible spending at the time.

I agree. Budget should have been $8k. Anyone who spends more than that on a kid’s first car is stupid.

Jalopnik is more about the circlejerk jokes than anything actually insightful. I’m starting to feel more and more like it’s written by teenagers.

$25k budget? Are you kidding me? It’s indefensible.

Worst suggestions ever? worst suggestions ever.

The interior looks like a whore’s boudoir

Obviously I posted it just to piss you the fuck off so much that you blew a fuse. ;) Top 10 list with a limited number of mfg considered “luxury”...just mixing things up here. But honestly, I’m not mad at cha.

Ya’ll doing this wrong.

I’m sorry, I don’t believe for one millisecond that what the driver is seeing is the “game” they portrayed. Getting a VR headset to somewhat sync to reality, in a usable manner,

Otherwise you finance. Dealerships wont take credit card and you cant use apple pay. Have you purchased a car before from a

I dont know about you but I could tell a first gen Civic Hybrid from a regular one. One would have to be quickly looking at it or not in the know to not see the differences. They were minimal, but there just enough to tell that it was something other than a basic Civic.

Plus, it’s just gorgeous. Everywhere you look at the Sonata Hybrid, it’s a stunner.

I vote we wait until we can get printers to work reliably and work up from there.

That’s not the way facts work. I don’t have to make a better infographic to know that this one has issues. My not making a competing infographic doesn’t make the opinions expressed here facts, nor does it make the wrong parts true.

Merely reposting the same images everyone has already seen is not an effective way to defend your point.

A lovely 1962 Jaguar Mark II. Besides being a very pretty thing, its price has actually appreciated over the years and will likely continue to do so, unlike many of the other choices here.

Nah Jesus drove an Accord, but he didn’t talk about it much.

These are my two votes.
