VR is ready. Hollywood producers don’t know how to make good VR experiences, clearly.

Awesome! Have you tried Onward? I play with Oculus rift players quite often on that :)

You clearly haven’t played anything immersive in a good VR headset. You can forget quite easily.

The thing that these developers don’t seem to realise however, is just how MANY people actually do suffer from VR sickness with what I would call “poorly designed” locomotion/experiences. I did a poll on /r/Vive a while back with over a thousand votes and it was about 50/50 for people who have had sickness in bad

Thank you. Lower tier VR experiences should not be used as a standard for all of VR. It’s a shame they have been allowed to be released on the platform to begin with. It just shows how ignorant some developers have been to susceptible users to nausea in VR.

Please.. Can you guys stop making up your minds on Virtual Reality based on BAD EXPERIENCES which were clearly not designed for people who are susceptible to VR sickness - which not everybody is, by the way... I am, but I know a lot that aren’t.

Not to forget the part where is has possibly the best and most intense soundtrack to grace the video game industry in years!

It’s pretty well known common decency to not insult an entire nation’s cuisine. One which I doubt you’ve even tried.

I love how they still haven’t quite figured out what should and shouldn’t stop your vehicle when you hit it.. You were smashing trees up without even losing speed, bit a flimsy metal fence? Oh no! Full impact collision.

“There are a handful of cool games and apps, but nothing that I’d consider a system-seller.”

Save a space for me, I’m done with humans

They were both absolutely awful candidates and it’s insane that it came down to them two!

I love seeing art like this. It makes me really want to see games/tv shows/films/books set in the universes. Too many games seem to have art direction pinned on almost as an afterthought, when the look and feel of the universe should dictate the game and give it it’s own unique identity.

4K Monitor, 4K TV, a bunch of Steam games (included Dishonored 2) & Xbox One S... My poor bank account.

Some very valid points of course.. But I think you have to take it all with a very very large pinch of salt as it would appear they were going more for whimsy than realism. Which I very much think they achieved.

Just wanted to clarify, people only feel nausea while/after playing VR during certain experiences. There are a number of things that trigger the response, the primary one is artifical locomotion. Using a controller to move around the world, other than the 1:1 walking around movement method. It looks like the

“if you play around in the headset for too long, your eyes and and your head will start to hate you”.

I think you need to watch some slo-mo from the Google Pixel..

Congratulations for posting the sole bad review of Pixel I’ve seen so far. Congratulations also for writing the most opinionated and bias review on a phone I’ve seen so far, rendering it just poorly written journalism. It’s a shame people will actually listen to your negative ramblings about arguably (albeit a dumb

Any word on Vive support? Since you know.. Vive has motion controllers and full roomscale tracking without having to spend a ridiculous amount on extra controllers and cameras?
