I have a 1990 Isuzu version of that truck. It’s a $1500 truck at best. The Isuzu has the 2.6L 4 banger good for a factory fresh 145 HP. It’s pretty torquey but still very slow by todays standards.

I remember racing one of these in my 240z and wondering why it couldn’t keep up, then did some research and learned the v8 had the same power output as my 2.4L 6.

And my 2013 subaru is undergoing an “oil consumption” test as we speek.. 3/4 of a quart of oil usage over 3,000 miles. Too much for me but still barely within mfr specs. Considering my 2006 mazda uses the same 20w oil and uses zero oil between changes.
