no. there's likely some overlap, but the lead writer and the creative director are different. So hopefully the game is a bit more narrative-successful then FC3

and its the 7th month of the 7th year too
AMEN! I was just talking about this with my wife yesterday, on how it would impact day-to-day having something like a super-zoom lens in your eye, or how relationships would change having robotic arms/legs. exciting stuff!
I want this game, but I want to wait 'till its "complete", I've noticed I get sorta burned out on games I early-access sometimes, especially narrative driven ones. My question for all you kotaku-ites is: being that this game is no longer in early-access on steam, are the stretch-goal features in the game yet? or is…
this just gives me more reason to stray away from AAA titles. Big-wigs in game studios don't realize that the resent success 'boom' in indie gaming owes alot to people being annoyed with the business practices of companies like EA and Microsoft, this will not help their image. I foresee this being the 'hump that broke…
haha oh yeah :P in my brain I somehow thought the PC version ha. guess they're about the same. the streetpass is for a multiplayer(esque) arena area
no cross play, but I found the 3ds version to be better for 2 reasons, 1) street pass and 2) the 2nd screen is a quick inventory for swapping out weapons.
are you a necromancer? 'cuz you just brought this thread back from the grave.
my only difference is in best of show, I'd give that to No Man's Sky. I unfortunately caught the hype at last year's reveal
amazing. invest in this brand, they are going places
"hey hun can you grab some Dry hole at the store?" -nope, i'm done
that was the most amazing mario kart video
agreed, they promise a lot of exciting ideas and concepts, but the recent 'early access' craze has me skeptic of anything until it is on the market as a finalized product. I've been burned/let down too many times.
<rant>
it's never said, which is part of the issue. w/o some point of reference (as to what Aiden is capable of) the ability to suspend belief for his list of abilities is even steeper. Thus whenever his skills are refrenced we (the player) have to just assume that there is a reason he's good at this and a reason he'd do…
pretty much where I am atm, this could go one of two ways, Duke Nukem (tough nut, you bought the broken game now we will make Rust 2) or Final Fantasy 14(yeah we screwed up, here's the game re-made for all the customers). my money is on a 'Rust 2'
someone had to develop said code and it reflects on them as developers (incompetent code requires incompetent developers to develope it), so yogo may have a point.
good deal. here's hoping they don't "loose interest" or "feel these changes better suit a new game release" like a lot of early access games have done in the past. I'm still about 25% skeptical that this game will end up vaporware/abandoned for new changes
does this mean that It will get an update or they are abandoning it to make a new "rust" thus making my recent purchase null and void?
why the fuck is it not coming out at the same time in US & Aus? literally the only difference is packaging...
