yeah, thats true, also some great standalone DLC: Blood Dragon! BUT hopefully these all will stir a shift in their direction. Supposedly there's going to be an eventual BioShock infinite DLC and I'm crossing my fingers it follows suit, and eventually all AAA DLC shifts towards X-pack quality and beyond

yeah, but lately there have been really good DLCs on games that felt complete. Dragonborn for skyrim, The most recent DLC for Borderlands 2.. both added to the experience and brought new features or ideas that would have never been in the planned game.
