I'm not super upset about cross platform multiplayer, what is bugging me is that the wii U version is being held down by restrictions from the 3DS version :/ the whole "smaller roster" is a bummer, hopefully the Wii U version will offer character DLC or the 3DS maps as something for those who want it

You should have asked what their plans were for DLC (ie levels & characters) post release. I've been really curious to know. I know alot of Fighting games now have their rosters expand post release
