I read about a lightsaber like invention developed in arizona, instead of using light/lazers it utilized super chilled plasma, the beam was adjustable (from like 1" to 3") BUT the machine it's self is the size of a locker room. if anyone knows what I'm talking about please link to story thnx

exactly, I think that he/she is implying they all handle their physics the same way (ie with a modified Havoc engine) and just alter shaders, lighting, and other visual aspects to optimize for the game
