That was really good! Could’ve been a bit tighter and punchier, but that’s a minor quibble. The performances were good, and Doug Jones is always good value. Setting and costumes were great, and most of the VFX too (speeder bike was dodgy as all get-out though). And a nice little story, felt like a decent Star Wars…

You can’t go around remaking important star wars characters with CGI and then recast one of the most important characters in the universe for an entire movie about him... I was feeling good about a Han trilogy. Now, I am excited in the best possible way.

Saw this a few days ago. It was an admirable effort. I wish the young filmmakers all the success in the future. We shall have to watch their careers with great interest.
