Fixing the subway absolutely helps people living in the rest of the state. NYC is the state’s economic engine and provides the vast majority of funding for the whole state. Losing productivity because people can’t get to work hurts the entire state.

No, a majority of white women did not vote for Trump. 53% of the 53 Million white women who voted in the election did so for Trump. If you look at that as a percentage of eligible white, non-hispanic female voters, it’s 35% of the total eligible white female voting population, which was 80.8 Million.
