I didn’t particularly view Owens as threatening Nancy and Jonathan, as much as showing them the threat the gate posed and what had to be done to stop it. There’s threat inherent in that, certainly, but I didn’t view it as direct. That said, I could’ve just been drawn in by the Ol’ Reiser charm.

I’ve been looking forward to this for a while, because I’ll always give Martin Campbell a shot (for Casino Royale and Goldeneye alone. Legend of Zorro is just icing). I’m glad it’s solid.

I find it very entertaining that the son of Stacker Pentecost, one of the most absurd leading man names in recent history (it’s almost Cypher Raige level), is named fuckin’ Jake. They just gave up on finding something ridiculous and were like “Whatever. Name him Jake or some shit”.

I was also really surprised with that. Even if one found it to be the best season, it’s not that different from the last two. It was a fine season. Probably equal to season 1. Had some highlights, and a lot of pretty good episodes. Pretty good for this show is high quality, but still.

I don’t really consider Legion, Deadpool, or the Wolverine movies part of the X-Men franchise. I know they’re technically all canon, but they have no or next to no relation to each other (Not that the main movies make much sense, continuity-wise). I probably won’t think of Gifted that way either.

You could call Another a horror anime. It’s closer to a light Stephen King style of horror mystery than straight horror, but I really enjoyed it.
