Sigh...Well, I’m gonna watch this. This is maybe the first time I’ve not wanted to watch an X-men thing. I was even excited for Apocalypse.

It’s still fun and I enjoyed it. But it’s a mess in almost every way. Even the basic plot barely makes sense. It also seems to have a distressing insistence on killing good characters. (I don’t want to go further than that because I can’t figure out how to spoilers on Kinja.)

The ancient Greeks knew the Earth was round. Just to put this in perspective.

Just curious: Where did you go in Baltimore?

You call The Raid 2 boring again and we’re gonna have to have words. Every single fight in that movie is batshit, bugfuck awesome.

To be fair, Arrow’s TV budget hand-to-hand fights are regularly better choreographed than a lot of modern action movies (That’s both a legitimate compliment to Arrow and a slight to hand-to-hand fighting in big budget movies).

I’ll always support the watching of American Dad, a show which got good around season 5 and never really stopped being so.

Well...I’m always excited for American Dad. Even if it’s a random Western episode finale.

What’s the third spinoff site? I know of the Avocado and TIF, but I don’t remember a third one.

McDonald’s Hash Browns are high on my list, but Mac N’ Cheese is 100% my comfort food. I had a surgery a year or two back and the food I most looked forward to getting, to the point of bookmarking recipes, was M&C. I’ve been obsessed with trying various versions and variations ever since.

Well, I’m here. I guess.

Oooooooooooh, that’s dumb. It does not improve the twist, which is already dumb. It just makes it more dumb.

Wanted is off-puttingly vile in tone. I watched it at around 13 or so, and I’m not sure I’d ever seen a movie radiate such visceral contempt for the people watching it. It took me years to be able to see James McAvoy as anything but an unbelievably smug asshole. On the other hand, there are a few cool visuals.

I actually really like the idea that Arya is a damaged, mildly psychotic individual because of her traumatic experiences and, y’know, assassin training. It’s a more interesting and less crowd-pleasing way to go then Game of Thrones has been doing recently. Which is why I don’t think it’s happening. However, I think

Oh jeez. It’s not at all.

I can’t even tell if I’m in the greys.

So, will the tv club section be reorganized or is it solely gonna be chronological? Because I’m finding it a lot more difficult to find older shows on it at the moment.

Hmmm...weird.

Well, I certainly hope this isn't the end, either because Kinja turns out better than we expect, or because of the Chrome app that makes it more usable. Regardless, I've been lurking on this site for almost a decade now, through all of high school and most of college (I'm not quite finished yet), and just started

Robert Davi blew up a guy in a high pressure chamber and then made a money-laundering pun. There's a machete fight partially on top of a moving gas tanker (a feat not to be outdone until Fury Road). That movie is a fucking gem, on both intentional and unintentional levels.
