These trucks are used in commercial applications more than they’re used for personal use (when the only thing that touches the bed is a rain drop). I’ve seen landscapers abusing these trucks like they don’t care if they have to walk back home.

When you have a fleet of 50 trucks for commercial use you don’t line them, you squeeze them until they end up in a junk yard.

I think you’ve never seen landscapers loading company’s trucks...

“Aluminum” is clearly a keyword in this ad because potential customers have been hearing about the use in the new trucks, it’s not an attack to the aluminum per se. I have the impression they used the same bed design with aluminum and tested for light duty.

It’s not the grade that matters in these applications but the structural design, the reason why the steel bed works it’s because it was designed for steel, the aluminum bed was designed for steel thus the results in the video.
