I agree. I think Valve could be doing a better job as a curator, perhaps ironically taking a page from the mobile market which has already had to face this.
But there is, and he nails it with this:
Agreed. I don't believe there's an issue with the amount of indie games, as that number should grow as the tools for development continue to empower more small developers. More games from small devs is a good thing for the continued growth of gaming.
That quote is part of a post Vogel has written on his blog that ties into some stuff we've been talking about over the past week. Namely, that there are too many indie games being made, and it's starting to become a serious problem.

At ZeniMax's offices, Carmack evaluated, analyzed, and began modifying the Rift prototype using ZeniMax's VR Technology. At that time, the Rift was a crude prototype. I actually have neither. My faith went horribly down when Oculus was bought by Facebook. Then it was gone completely when I heard it was coming to Chuck E. Cheese locations.
From what we know the last time this was brought up, Zenimax actually has a case. Obviously, the people that automatically blame Zenimax have their fanboy blinders on.
I will hold my judgement until we know more about this. I know many won't do it and will just be blaming Zenimax.
Nah, ya should have railed him harder, the guy was being a wank and should be treated as such.

I learned how to type from playing that game. I still speed hunt and peck because of it.
I remember growing up with this bad boy. It just looks awesome.
The first is my favourite simply because there's nothing like a British New Wave reference. If any of these are real terms used, it's probably the second one.
