That quote is part of a post Vogel has written on his blog that ties into some stuff we've been talking about over the past week. Namely, that there are too many indie games being made, and it's starting to become a serious problem.

You clearly missed the part of this story where Carmack was working on the Oculus long before he "joined" them. Here's a video from E3 2012 where he discusses months of work modifying and improving the Oculus, all while employed by Id:

I actually have neither. My faith went horribly down when Oculus was bought by Facebook. Then it was gone completely when I heard it was coming to Chuck E. Cheese locations.

From what we know the last time this was brought up, Zenimax actually has a case. Obviously, the people that automatically blame Zenimax have their fanboy blinders on.

I will hold my judgement until we know more about this. I know many won't do it and will just be blaming Zenimax.
