Yeah, Machinarium is great! I played some of their new one, Samorost 3, as an IGF judge this year and it seems lovely so far, too.

True, DKCR had awful controls, but for myself and many others, the shake to spin-attack in Mario Galaxy was perfect. The tiny wind-up you had to do was so satisfying. It was much more manageable than the unforgiving, twitch platforming of DKCR.
