It's certainly less prevalent on PC, but its still there. The Titanfall beta would have been 100x more enjoyable without all the prepubescent screeching.

Huh, never heard of it. I just keep thinking of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and that one on last gen consoles (the New Order I think it was?). Neither was necessarily bad, they were just thoroughly blah.

My inner old school gamer is fighting the urge to preorder just to get beta access to Doom. Experience tells that Wolfenstein will be OKish or subpar, so maybe I'll just wait. It's tempting, but not "full price for a meh game" tempting. Need to see some more gameplay before biting that bullet.

From one old fart to another : Try Steam. It's the best thing that's happened to my gaming habits since the NES. I play more games for less money. No stacks of boxes to worry about, no resentful wife to look at them and think "How much money did he spend on all this?"

Good show. I played with frame rates before working on my project and yeah, 30fps doesn't give a film look at all. It's different and can be used as an artistic choice sure, but to try and capture a movie type look with it is insane.
