I bought a 1980 Honda CM400 for $800 off craigslist. Nothing special, like you explained about UJM. It had low rise handle bars and an exhaust upgrade. I beat the ever living shit out of it for two summers and sold it for $800.

I don’t think you can beat the performance, luxury and space for that price. The looks are ok but that’s biased since I see them almost everyday and I’ve gotten used to it.
