BS-We all drive around everyday with tractor trailers we cannot see around and are way bigger than we are.

Um, I’m gonna go ahead and disagree with you on this one. As someone that went from a Tundra to a 335 I don’t feel unsafe in the 335. And what about folks riding motorcycles? I’ve never heard any of them say they stopped riding because of trucks. I understand they would lose to anything on four wheels, but if trucks

^^^ So much this^^^

I never owned a truck until May, upon moving to Texas. Trucks are kind of a thing here.

Theres nothing wrong with driving the vehicle you like. It's popular to hate on trucks, but driving a truck without using the full capacity is no worse than driving a sports car without taking it on the track.

Truck people need not apologize for their choice in vehicle, just like no one in a sports car should apologize for theirs. The whole hating on trucks/cuvs/SUVs things is dumb and tired. Don’t like that I get less mpgs than you? Eat a scabby dick and worry about your own pitiful and sad existence.

A swap I fully intend to carry out is putting a Cummins I-4 TurboDiesel in my 1969 Ford F-100 Ranger.

A Triumph Spitfire...

I’m going to need you to purchase a few grand in carbon offsets from my company to make up for your environmental transgressions. I will in no way do anything to help the environment, but I promise to enjoy your money.

In all seriousness I think they just need her estate to OK it.  There’s more than enough recordings to sample from.

Soooo... how are they going to get Majel Barrett-Roddenberry’s permission to mimic her voice?

Don’t shame “snitching”. Exposing criminals is in the interest of society as a whole, and we want more people to come forward, not less. Yes, we’re talking about a garbage person, but the information he provides is valuable. And there is nothing valuable, or even moral, in remaining loyal to a criminal gang. So, don't

Darn it Patrick, stop runnin’ through the house with a pickle in your mouth!

This is a better box on a skateboard

Yeah I went into a KIA dealership a little over a year ago while SUV shopping and got a sleezy vibe. The place seemed kinda run down, and in an attempt by the salesman to build a rapport with me about being a veteran he started talking about faking injuries to get out of a deployment.

I really, really wish I could take a train instead of a plane to see my relatives. But as you note, it is so much more expensive, and would end up taking me four days to get there.

It’s worth noting that Japan is only just shy of the size of California but has about 3x the amount of people people living in it.

It’s as if something like lunch doesn’t have to be a “thing” anymore. Maybe we’ll see a resurgence in automats like back in the day:

Japan has a lot more population density than the US so the train system makes sense.

The Amtrak dining car died because it costs more to go 200 miles on Amtrak than it does to go 3,000 miles on a plane.
