Got hit by a chevy brodozer while i was sitting in my car at a stop light and he just drove off like nothing happened. He lost his front plate in the crash so the cops tracked him down. Turns out he had a warrant for arrest and no insurance I understand the fear.

I have been rear-ended twice by soccer mom’s in SUVs. That’s not an irrational fear. One of them even hit me while I was sitting at a red light, not stopping for or slamming on the brakes for, but had been sitting there for a while before she carelessly slammed into the back of my car.

On the fourth picture that is clearly a boo boo. However it could be a legitimate design feature and act as vent. Wranglers notoriously suffer from Heatsoak and many after market fenders actually offer a vent in that same location to let the engine breathe/cool off.

Honestly I think it was just a mistake. It looks like they were just clicking on layers on a CADD/rendering and deleting them and selected one too many. It’s not just the render but the same piece of bodywork that wraps around the underside and between the doors and thus the rockers were also removed.

It looks like in the rendering the fender and rocker panel were removed. Probably just easier that way to get the pictures edited quickly.
