The real question is what is your time worth and do you truly enjoy the hunt for obscure parts? For instance, I enjoy wrenching, but am not a huge fan of finding parts. I will take my savings in the labor hours and just buy the potentially pricier stuff online vs hitting 14 different junk yards.

Oh I hear ya. I personally don’t think $120 for a new gear set is an arm and a leg. What would you be willing to pay for a used gear set?
No, I don’t have one. ;) :)

I feel like that’s a little penny wise pound foolish. Sure it’s a 10th of what you bought the car for but the car is useless without it. And it’s only $120. What’s a reasonable amount of money for an integral part of a car these days?

I used to think being an Ice Cream Man would be a cool job.

Careful what you say! I’ve said something along these lines twice around here and got everyones panties in a bundle. But I am with you. This is a website that ends in jalopnik.com, why are they feeding us political bull shit, regardless of which side of the aisle you, I, or Blaballon, I mean Ballaban, is on?

I’ll call you dumb. I have been around this transmission from the start and never had an issue. Not once. Know why? I LOOK to make sure I am in park before I exit the vehicle. I do this on every vehicle. It is basically SOP.

Bush was very beloved in Africa, under Bush we did a lot more in the way of diplomacy and aid for most of the nations on that continent than we have in the years since.

It's not better if the driver gets caught. However if it has a lower incident rate than a normal/sober/alert driver then it is better for everyone else.

Longer than for the next drunk guy to actually drive his Honda/Chevy/BMW home.

You write this as if it’s a bad thing.

It’s the producers’ and labels’ faults. They cashed in on the big uproar that Daughtry, Kid Rock, and Aaron Lewis caused around 2008. Daughtry went back to Alternative, but Kid Rock and Aaron Lewis continued to contribute to the blurring of the lines between Rock and Country. As such we now have guys playing Jackson

Lol that’s a great way of putting it. I occasionally start pissing matches just because I’m the sort of person that has a very hard time NOT addressing obvious stupidity when people put it out there for the world to read. I suppose that’s my cross to bear, but it’s always pleasant to interact with someone who’s

It’s unfortunate that so many people turn their brains off before logging on...technology and the internet could be an amazing tool for enabling discourse and progress but instead we prefer to be outraged. Sigh.

The number of turbos has no real influence on this argument. More turbos doesn’t mean more power. It’s typically done for packaging reasons. Two smaller turbos are easier to package on a V6/V8 than a single larger turbo. Overall power when the turbos are properly sized single vs twin will be very similar.

The boost

Indeed there is a difference, and that difference is also the difference between a blog post headline (admittedly a bit hyperbolic) and a discussion between ostensibly reasonable people in the comments below.

For a practicing medical professional, it’s pretty rich for you to make any blanket statements about any sort of healthcare issue in the comments of a tech blog.

Where did you get the idea that I personally dreamed up, invented, and am now marketing this device to the public as a one-stop solution for reproductive health?

Precisely. I’m not always known for my brevity.

So... 513att’s comment is both stupid AND obvious?

This is for monitoring AFTER the unusual part has already been confirmed. Do you know what the term “high-risk pregnancy” means, or did you just glaze right over that part of the article and rush down here to make a stupid and obvious comment?
