Scrap the F-35. Restart production on an ‘F-22 Improved’, re-engineered to 2015 standards, and using the F-35 sensor suite and software. Build 2500 of them for the USAF and also sell an export version to only the best allies - the UK, Australia, Japan and Israel. This F-22i would handle air superiority and stealth…

The gun footage is cool and all, but that scenario should have been handled with some cluster bombs or MLRS salvo or some good ol’ fashion arty. The Apache gun is not that accurate. It’s all spray and pray and more than half those guys got away.
