It's called a masala dabba, and is common in Indian kitchens. I got mine at World Market for about 7 bucks a piece, but you can get them on Amazon.

I keep a few of these around. One with Indian spices, one with typical stuff I use every day, salt, pepper, garlic, etc. and one with stuff I use for Mexican.
