A nifty note on a taco place. When I eat out, I test everything with a gluten tester. Gluten free can be hard to do in a mixed commercial kitchen. And yes, I have had dishes test positive for gluten that were labeled gluten free. Worst places for cross contamination: bakery, pizza place, taco place and any place that

Its probably cutting up the onions. Just take a break from the cutting board, and put a few more pierogi in the water to boil before frying a golden brown.

If I want pierogi, I still grab a box from the store. Sure, homemade can be wonderful, but I was brought up on Mrs. T, and the occasional trip to Pierogi Palace at the West Side Market in Cleveland. I am just glad I can find ones I can eat (food allergies suck). Fry up a mess of onions, peppers and a good kielbasa

Meh. I have food allergies. I am just happy to be able to eat at a particular restaurant. Just don’t ask me to go in a bakery, KFC or other place that has flour floating in the air. I try not to let it be the party downer, and I have a backup if the restaurant doesn't have something I can eat.

Missing the killer app. Park truck on slight grade with tailgate pointing down, hook up hose, lay down mats and riffles, and start sluicing for gold. Just keep dumping gold rich ground toward the cab end as the pile runs down the length of the bed. Literally, rinse, repeat.

Trader Joe’s casserole. Chinese takeout style, but something needs to be done with the fried rice on top, so it doesn’t get too dry. Sprinkle with water, top with cheese.... Maybe top with bao buns instead.(Or puff pastry.)

You can go for the hat trick of everything but your drink on a skewer. Cut kielbasa into rounds, and skewer through the casing on the side to keep them flat. Use bamboo to skewer the fruit, served with the dipping bowl of whipped cream.

Dave died of a heart attack. His favorite meal was a frosty, cheeseburger and a chili, IIRC. Wendy's Corporate tried too keep that as quiet as possible.

You are the person choosing to give them patronage. Decide for yourself, would you go and eat there again after the service you received? Whichever the decision, stick to it and move on with life. No social media drama required, consider it a cheap lesson on how the restaurant will treat you on a bad day.

Kia Company Masterpiece

Nope. Chicken thighs seasoned in a roasting pan, bake until they give up golden pools of delight. Drain schmaltz, save for later. Serve as is with crispy skins, or shred and muck about with fillings and what not.

It just needs a couple of bread trucks on either side, and then you can call it a sandwich.

Hopefully the therapist will prescribe a meatlovers with extra cheese for you.

Meh. It happens. I prefer soup to Mac and cheese, simply due to the fact I can't tolerate it due to gluten allergy and lactose intolerance. I can take lactose pills for small amounts but Mac and cheese (gluten free) would still take me down for the count.

Life is too short. Try another place, another cuisine. Don’t expect fabulous service at a restaurants busiest hours. Could be worse, I have multiple food allergies and I have many restaurants I can no longer get a meal. And I have run across restaurants that I had no problems initially, but had cross contamination

I had a 95 bought new, sitting on the lot for over a year. It was the sport package with the base engine (and a manual). Was it fun? Yes, but I drove it till it was too expensive to fix (smoking oil) at 130,000 miles and sold it to a co-worker’s son with mechanical inclinations. Would it hoon? I ran a Dominos for six

Nice. If you want to do the ice cube tray trick, spring for the metal one, you can sieve directly and pop in the freezer.

Get your editor to pay for you to brulee a cronut from New York and report back on the experience. Heck , grab a pool photographer, and don’t share... They have to get their own.

Is it bad when my initial reaction is from Buddy the Elf?

I am a celiac (intolerance to gluten). So..... Neither. I can't follow up with worse tweets... And the other option would probably kill in an a year or two.
