NASA has had prototype scramjet testing for years... 2001 was when testing started. My question is have they solved the leak like a sieve on the ground issue for the fuel for the SR-71. Tanks and lines expanded from heat, and they couldn’t be insulated enough to keep the gasket materials from melting or outright

It could conceivably quadruple the value, but it won’t attract the deep pockets like Jeff Dunham. He actually has a Levi’s branded Gremlin, but I don’t think he’s into bedazzled cars.

Interesting with the second piston attached. I assume they had issues with bigger single cylinder heads producing the same horsepower, and maybe the cost was a factor. Maybe cooling a bigger piston, or packaging size for the engine was a factor. So how would it be marketed, as a radial eight?

Kristen, if you are going to bedazzle a car, go all the way, with Ballaban’s Yugo. It’s even in blue, and screams please make me pretty.

I think Italian sub. Casserole. Different enough. Now, I need to get back to planning a tamale casarole. Tamales can be fussy, I wonder if it would casserole well.

You are... Plum Crazy.

Baozi is wonderful! I miss it.

  • Does your New Year’s resolution involve eating more vegetables or drinking more water? I plan to eat more vegetables, less carbs and protein. Hopefully it will help me lose weight.

Some are much better at crashing.... Doesn’t have to be a race, could be a photo shoot, or a quick track day lap introduction to a new car....

All the money in your bank account. And that doesn’t account for if you wreck it, race cars can’t be insured on track. If the WRC car costs 750,000 Australian, most of us couldn’t afford to change the tires and gas for an event.

What I want: Hellcat

So if your a Jalopnik writer, don’t reply to this thread? Torch just got a Pao, Tracy has his Go-Devil basket case, Puffalump probably curls up in the Type-II air cooled, and Fancy Kristen.... Hmm. I don’t remember. And that is leaving out a Yugo and an International Scout.

It not the winning, it’s the struggle. Now go look up gluten free popover recipes and enjoy. They use steam, not gluten, so they are pretty close to the regular version.

You can run tires to 300+ mph, rocket trucks have done it for decades. Just need to shave the tread to bare minimum, and X-Ray the tire for any hidden defects. You can still have a blow out at speed like Richard Hammond in the rocket powered drag car.

Dad’s left on a wrecker to be crushed when the next set of repairs cost more than it was worth.

Sadly, no it does not. I do not miss the Vega, rust in peace. At least my Dad bought it used, painted the color orange, kinda hid the rust (not really).

What about allergen detectors for food? Nima has one out for gluten (it works) and is getting ready to release one for peanut allergies.

How about vs. recipe comparisons for the new year? Full calorie vs. reduced, vegan vs. omnivore, gluten vs. gluten-free, fast and quick vs. slow five star recipe?

Can you start using slappy as a term for sporty cars? That would bring a smile for me.
