Abusers don't get better. Anger management classes don't work.

Why would you do that to battered women? They don't want to hang with an abuser.

Most of the assholes in my nice Tampa area subdivision are retired New Yorkers, many of them cops. And my God are they awful.

Is there some reason you feel a need to say that domestic violence, brutally beating the people closest to you, doesn't make you a bad person? Because, dude, it's a pretty bright line. It's not like getting into a bar fight and taking a swing at a drunk; it's hitting someone you profess to love. It's pretty much the

If your incident is committing violence against another human being, then I'm fine with that.

You just restated the problem. Women are people just like you, you shouldn't need to "put a face to it."

Because all women have value, not just the ones you're related to. Women are important regardless of their relationships to men. I loved this piece but I agree, I hate to see that trope. It is kind of insulting to men as well—like men can't really empathize with women short of imagining it happening to someone they

I grew up eating and dressing out game animals—moose, caribou, fish and crab. I don't understand why it's gross to know where your food comes from. It's a lot more humane to shoot a wild animal who always lived free than to raise an animal in a feedlot, IMHO.

Why are pigs worse? I have field-dressed animals and broken them down for processing, but not slaughtered.

I think that if this relationship isn't meeting your needs and isn't likely to meet your needs in the near future, it's time to move on.

yeah, the non-binary people i know are pretty vocal about skoliosexual being fetishizing.

Sexual attraction totally changes the way sex feels. Sex with someone I'm not attracted to is deeply unpleasant.

He was incredibly charming and smart and fun to watch.

What I got out of that when I watched it last night is that Trinidad James is one of the most charismatic people in the world today. He was just great.

Yes. You get a judge to issue a subpoena (pretty easy if you have an attorney) and then Twitter has to give you the originating IP and any associated info about the account. Then you go to the ISP and show them the subpoena and you get the subscriber info.

You feel sorry for the school, and not for the women who had pictures of themselves while unconscious and partially undressed posted to FB. You really do embody Penn State "values."

It's $70/bottle from the MLM place. You can buy most essential oils from Amazon for like 1/3 the MLM price. I buy stuff from a vendor called Eden's Garden because I use unscented cleaning products and sometimes add essential oils just so it smells "clean". They're great and I'm happy to pay $8 for a bottle of good

There was a lady who owns a smoothie shop in my community who posted to the neighborhood Facebook group about what pyramid scheme essential oils she would use in case her kid came down with EBOLA. When it was pointed out that she was 1) fearmongering and 2) completely insane, she huffily replied that she was just

That's exactly the issue. When you add in jobs and kids and other commitments, I just can't see how it would work. If I didn't want kids or a career, I could do it but I value those more than having another partner.

See, I just go to knitting group.
