It has front inpact protection. There’s no engine there so it’s all crumple zone. It’s also not cab over, the driver sits further back than you think hence it having the two obnoxious a pillars. Look at how far back the driver is:

You actually don’t see that many of these because the typical buyer talks themselves into an MDX instead for the badge.”

Best recent EV interior I’ve seen, maybe along with the Honda e. Also great to see a move away from animal skin.

Honda has had a semi-similar push/pull situation for its gear selector for years now. I don’t really see why this is controversial?

I put 40,000 miles on a 2018 Renegade 4x4 6 m/t before selling it about a year ago. It was super cheap to purchase and I got 26.4 MPGs over the length of my ownership. These are meant for people who probably live on the coasts or a major metro, who like hiking, kayaking and shopping at whole foods and

I think the source article just looked at the cheapest Y available before and the current lowest price.

“For the most part, I agree with this sentiment. But with the incoming redesigned Outlander, it’s basically a Nissan Rogue with a third row, better warranty, and in my opinion, better looks. Not to mention that they’ll probably have more cash on the hood and like COMTNDRVR says, they’ll give anyone credit.”
