The eventual wear of (p)leather if not properly cared for I’ll grant you, but to my sister with 3 young boys having leather seats in the minivan is a godsend when it comes to keeping it clean. 

As the owner of mostly cloth seats, now fake and real leather, I have to disagree. Its much easier to clean leather or vinyl than cloth, you don’t have to get the steamer out, you simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Especially useful if you have dogs, deal with a lot of dust, etc. 

The pricing makes no sense. For their Tier 1 with the Chevy Spark pictured for $599/mo............ You can buy a brand new Spark with zero money down with only a 2 year loan for LESS!
