As my parents were shopping for a replacement for their 2017 Passat, they asked me about the Arteon seeing as these were being discounted about $10k off sticker in my area.

They’re 20s. The SE comes with 18s, the SEL with 19s, and the SEL Premium with 20s.
The Arteon SEL Premium R-Line (as is the one reviewed here) comes with cooled seats as standard equipment.
People will say this but then gobble up Atlas Cross Sports at $50k+ and not complain about the value equation. Comparing top trim to top trim, the Arteon is a better value, cheaper, quicker, has better fuel economy, and has an actually luxurious interior compared to the Cross Sport.
Wow, I see they’re already replacing the old PIVI Pro infotainment screen with a new, larger version. Hope to see it come to the other trims soon.
Thanks for the advice, I haven’t heard of this stabilizer trim runway procedure when researching if the Max was safe so I will look into it. I personally am not that worried but I can understand why people I know would!
I have a question for you: I’m supposed to be taking a flight the first week of March and it’s on a 737 Max. I didn’t think much of it at first but there are people in my circle who are urging me to change flights to get on an AirBus or 737-800. Should I be worried?
This entire time I kind of just assumed that this would be another Euro-only BEV so I’m very surprised that Hyundai is actually going to bring it to the States. Very bold move, Hyundai!
Man, do I agree with you on the fake news stuff. When Ford revealed the Bronco last year, my social media was alit with “casual” enthusiasts saying how they were disappointed that the production model looked nothing like the “concept.” Of course Ford hadn’t shown a production concept since 2004 but it turns out they…
Just to be sure, the Model S went from starting at $69,420 to $79,990? That’s pretty steep, especially since I’m pretty sure the (non-existent) base Lucid Air is cheaper and applies for the tax credit.
The great thing about UWB and NFC is that (in the iPhone’s case), it’ll still unlock the car up to five hours after your phone’s battery has died.
Every single car with keyless ignition has a redundancy built in to start the car if the key is dead. My Focus ST had it at the bottom of its center console and all VWs I’ve been in have had an indentation on the steering column. Rest the key against these locations, press the start button, and off you go.
The fangs are Daffy’s eyes, the “colored-in” part of the viper’s head is Daffy’s bill.
This thing looks just as wide as the Ranger, and I can’t imagine it’d be much shorter than the Ranger in crew cab guise unless it has a 3 foot bed. But if the rumors are true about it starting at $19,995 then Ford will sell enough units.
I’ve been trying to validate the claim that this new GCL is based off an Alfa platform but no sites that I’ve read say explicitly that this is indeed on an Alfa platform. I see that the official press release notes “an all-new architecture” but ends it there. Are we sure this is indeed on the same platform as a…
I see quite a few Tellurides too. Makes sense since they’re made in Georgia and I’m sure exported to other markets. That door panel too is one found in Tellurides. There’s also some GMC Terrains. What a fun game!
You forgot that you can get this bad boy with four rows of seating! Obviously it would never be an option here in the states but that’s still pretty darn impressive. I like the version that has basically 6 captains chairs.
This is fairly common with most vehicles that have air suspension. Most people on the RS6 Avant Audizine forum are already installing these so their cars ride an inch or so lower than stock.
Even N-Line models bring with them performance hardware upgrades relative to their base counterparts.
I still think for better or for worst that we will have vehicles with combustion engines for at least another 1.5-2 decades from now, which definitely would make the R&D of these I-6 motors worthwhile especially if these engines do end up being MHEV. I could also see Mazda taking these engines and pairing them with a…
