That Frazer would make an AWESOME looking derelict rat rod.

Leave pizza out of this.

Has anyone done any followup with a software corrected TDI yet (maybe a Passat or late model Jetta?) to see how it affects mileage, power and adblue usage?

LS Swap ALL the things.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Trump is crazy, but just as the conservatives did to Obama, there is NOTHING that Trump can do that will please the left. There are things Obama did that I like and there are things Trump is trying to do that I like. Not everything has to be so partisan.

Sometimes there isn’t much of a choice, though. They’re easy enough to avoid in more rural towns, but bigger urban areas with lots of sprawl? You’re gonna have a beast of a time finding the house you want that you can afford and otherwise plausibly live with outside of an HOA.

Wait, what? The plane must “move relative to ambient air” to generate lift. But the ambient air ISN’T MOVING relative to the plane. The plane is stationary with respect to everything around it other than the treadmill. So, if the plane isn’t in a wind tunnel, there would be thrust but no lift. Unless the jet engines

False, Colorado is the best.

I’m originally from Colorado Springs and grew up with this as a normal summer event. I have to say I thought it was more fun before being paved. I remember those drivers having to point the car at the cliff, put one front wheel in the ditch and let the tail swing around to get through the turn. Its sure a lot

Sometimes outside car thermometers are so inaccurate that they feel like random number generators. They’re basically the worst feature of the car, next to the car’s infotainment systems. That’s because [...] they’re actually thermistors.

I can’t keep quiet about this anymore.

I honestly cannot see living in an HOA or COA unless it was a rental property. I can not stand having to ask permission to do what they I want on my property.

I’m happy for you, David, I really am. But, I’m also having nagging thoughts here that this is like an alcoholic that finds a way to make it through a rough family vacation without too terribly endangering himself and his family. I gotta say, man, get help. This automotive obsession might be getting well beyond

Sorry; the Mazdaspeed 6 had a built-in bootleg turn mechanism (when you pulled the handbrake at speed, it cut power to the rear wheels and shoved all the torque to the front wheels). There has never been any cooler car feature than that, and so the Mazda 6 will always be the coolest car.

We’re trying to figure out if there’s a name for this, turning sports cars into off-road vehicles. Off-roadsters?

Ha! I just did this with my Austin Healey - the head surface had corroded away at the edge of the thermostat surface...it worked beautifully with gentle filing of the mating surface.

I’ve always wondered about success stories like these. I’ve never been able to get any sort of JB Weld (plastic or metal compound types) to seal anything on a radiator, sidewall or otherwise. Must be a more difficult application due to the expansion and contraction there.
