i should’ve read through the whole thread and starred you, instead of taking the time to essentially write the same thing. ah well, here you go

It does not mean no evidence from the criminal case can be used in the civil case. It means the fact that he was convicted cannot be used. The civil case lawyers can call every single witness that was called in the criminal case, and present every other piece of evidence. They can’t use the conviction, though,

I get that there’s a difference, but isn’t it in effect the same thing? I’m assuming the state used all the available evidence they had to make sure they got the conviction, so if they can’t use any of that evidence what can they possibly use? I’m just very confused about how you could possibly sue Hernandez’s estate

That guy is a serious Stupid Dog Owner...who the fuck thinks it’s a good idea to bring a large, energetic dog to their job when it involves running around right next to a pool filled with shit that only has a 3 foot high fence around it? Of course he ran over and wanted to check it out. Fuck you, moron.

+1 metaphorical nails on chalkboard

Just in case this a cross-posted to the ‘bel.

no they don’t.

Except there are vehicles that are the same model but not the same make. Think 1500 trucks. That is a 1500......1500 Chevy or 1500 Dodge?

To add to these complaints:

Somewhat related, people who ride their brakes/illuminate their brake lights without actually slowing down. It’s especially infuriating to be behind a driver who does this several times a minute. If I can find an escape, I’ll take it every time rather than suffer behind them for a second longer than I have to.

People who brake on the highway.

When you’re coming up on someone on the highway, and they’re too afraid to use cruise control, and instead of being steady with their foot, their speed fluctuates between 65-85, and I’m forced to pass you 6 times because every time I pass you, you speed up top 85 and then pass me and then slow down to 65, or I’m stuck

Unnecessary braking. omyfuckingod.

Honestly I prefer to run with my lights on all the time period. You never know when the added visibility of your car will help.

Look at their car. Are there blemishes? Not necessarily a sign that someone is a bad driver, but I always give them more space. Either they dinged it while parking, someone else dinged it because they carelessly parked next to someone who doesnt care about their car, or theyve been in a fender bender, or and the

Title IX doesn’t require pay for both genders. Here’s the big point to all of this. You don’t have to pay anyone, you just shouldn’t be able to stop someone from getting what they can in the free market. If a booster wants to pay for the best women’s lacrosse team then let them. If a collector wants to pay a hockey

Of course it doesn’t mention pay because pay isn’t a benefit yet, but it does mention other benefits. Why wouldn’t it follow the same as all other benefits? I can’t see a way in which it wouldn’t be interpreted that way.

I basically fall in that same boat. I don’t see how, as currently constituted, most Divsion I institutes could afford to pay all their athletes. Roughly 80 percent of them lose money on athletics.

To avoid or not also depends somewhat on vehicle size. Squirrel vs. car: Squish. But squirrels are enemies of bike riders and need to be avoided because of their proclivity for suicide missions. Buggers can’t see the spokes and try to run through the wheel.

So “rate” means “speed” and “speed” means “rate”. I’m going to “speed” your post as “pedantic”.
