Agreed, plus the technology is likely available. My wife’s ‘11 Acadia knows when a turn signal (at least rear) has burned out - it starts blinking obnoxiously loud and fast when you use that particular directional.

I’ve driven every one of over 5000 hours driven in my newest vehicle with the non-LED headlights on and they have not yet burned out. Also, the sound made by my car when I forget to turn them off is one that will make you turn them off right quick.

You realize dealerships have a vast number of employees that are NOT part of the sales staff, right? My father’s dealership had, in it’s heyday, 15% of his staff in sales. The rest were administrative, parts, service or body shop employees.

I can’t imagine it’s very common - if it even occurred before. Generally it’s from bad weather, which in all likelihood would cause the game to be called anyways.
