I got into The Cranberries in college, as I expanded my musical horizons. Dolores had a distinctive and amazing voice. I’m saddened by her passing. RIP

I’m honestly surprised how much her death have meant to me.

Ah memories, I remember when our branch let twelve- or thirteen-year old me rent the first volume of Crying Freeman without batting an eye. It’s not straight-up porn like Overfiend, but it does feature two graphic sex scenes and quite a bit of violent death in just under an hour of run time.

A coworker of mine said that she took her grandparents to see Hostel, somehow under the impression it was a travelogue movie about two guys visiting Europe.
