I was going to say the gentlemen didn’t have a head as I thought The Invisible Man was a Verne novel. The More You Know :)

I hope the line was the establish the character tries to hard and is bad at attempting humor. Seems more likely than a jab at the population of a huge market.

I found some old CDR-mix tapes from college at my parents and I didn’t have anything on hand to play them.

I was 17 when this came out and hated teen aged melodramas like Dawson’s Creek. This would have been right up my alley, sad it never heard about it until now.

Old Detroit?

Why does Vader look like the rabbit from Donnie Darko?

I prefer Threads, and it somehow has an even grimmer ending than Fail Safe and The Mourning After. I can watch the first half leading up to the attack but I’ve never rematch the part after the bomb hits.

I first saw this and Dr. Stranglove as a double feature on TCM. They smartly aired Fail Safe first.

But how does it compare to Mr. Nanny or The Toothfairy?

I met Ron Kovic while I was at Kent State I can attest Cruise did a great job.

My goodness, something has frieghtened that monkey!

I remember one being off of I-90 in Indiana as a kid. The billboards really hyped it up but we never stoped:(

I assume’d it was root beer given the type of establishment.

Meh, it’s no Hollywood Upstairs Medical College.

I think LeBron is the obvious modern parallel to Jordan, but what the NBA is missing these days is a likable every day Joe type like Chuck. I do enjoy that they tried to hype up Shawn Bradley as a NBA star as a fan of mid 90s NBA.

LeBron might be in the bigger brand in pure numbers than world wide due to the growth of the NBA into China in the last 2o years. Which means we’ll get a sexy anthropomorphic dragon in the update.

I was in the target audience when Space Jam came out and liked it well enough. It’s interesting as an artifact of mid 90s focus group driven story telling, but it’s not by any means a good movie. Nostalgia and the Bill Maurry cameo are the only things it has going for it.

I would have gone with a Guy Incognito reference, but I still like the way Mr. Snrub @steammedhams thinks.

I don’t know if Skype is any better, but why did Zoom suddenly become king of video chat? Six weeks ago I was vaguely aware it was an alternative to Skype or Facetime, but suddenly Zoom is being used as a verb for all video chat/teleconferencing.

Really Billy and the Cloneasearus had the science and the characters motivations more fleshed out.
