500!
500!
I’m more nostalgic about Slam Ball than the XFL concerning turn of the century TNN/Spike programming goes.
I remember Rock ‘n’ Jock basketball with it’s 10 and 25 point shots and Rock ‘n’ Jock softball with a bunch a crazy crap on the field, but I totally forgot about Rock ‘n’ Jock football.
Any excuse to post this I take.
I’m actually all for sci-fi/fantasy elements in pro wrestling as I consider it performance art, but it was such a waste of time travel technology to travel back in time from the year 2000 to flounder in mid 90's WWF tag team division.
Red Bull owns multiple soccer clubs around the world and names them all after the company.
He was a Cyborg, but I don’t remember time travel being involved.
Also probably violated the Geneva Conventions.
I just loved it because it rocked and comes in at tight punk like 2:32. Yet the Cranberries could still do something great in a different direction like Linger.
I won’t pretend I’m a super Cranberries fan, or even bought one of their CD’s, but they were a staple of mid 90's alt/modern rock type stations that I listened to as a middle-schooler, and at that age I think you form the most emotional attachment to music. I definitely taped them off the radio in the pre-Napster burn…
Happy birthday Chris!
I remembering renting American Pie and my parents got home early from bowling and scrambling to turn it off.
My Uncle got the Holy Grail CD rom game for Mac instead of his PC for Christmas, and he just decided to give it to my nuclear family who had a Mac. For some reason my Grandma read the back of the case and was appalled by the mini game “Spank the Virgin.”
I miss live chats in general. Bring back AIM!
This brought back nightmares from when I was a center in Pop Warner and had to call “huddle!” every play in practice and in games age 12-14.
The first one was a Rochester Americans jersey.
If Vince is serious about his right wing XFL reboot, he needs to sign Alex Jones now and put him in the booth with legendary XFL commentator Jesse “The Body” Ventura. The three hour long discussion about how 9/11 was a false flag operation to drop gay bombs on Iraq to profit the Trilateral Commison and the Reptialians…
Are you ready for some CD ROM first person shooter action?
I managed to go to both of good games Rob Johnson ever had in 99/00 vs. 49ers and the COLTS, not the PATS, Drew. I was totally on the wrong side of sad Bills QB controversies until Taylor v. Peterman, which is still somehow a controversy with this fan base.
I haven’t watched it since I was about 14 but I remember it being funny enough. I was probably in the target demo.
