    I volunteered for the women's team when I was at Kent State and I can't get into the WNBA, largely in part because the NBA dumps it in summer when next to no one is looking for hoops. Playing during the regular hoops season doesn't hurt college women's ball. NWBL had it right, plus if the WNBA had the NBA machine…

    I was fine with Penn St. getting a year off for good behavior. I never wanted them to be the next SMU. I've had three great experiences as a visiting fan in Happy Valley.
