Wow, no mention of Sky Williams, whose slumlord facilitated a lot of this incidents (with him claiming ignorance), who bilked people for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and who has claims against him as well?

Seems the band is in the right, and are countersuing to be able to use the name they’ve had on file - uncontested - for decades. They’re not asking the solo singer to change her name, and aren’t demanding money. Makes sense to me.

French dips are delicious. Italian beefs are delicious. Both of those have breads hearty enough to hold up to being dunked; burgers don’t.

Sheesh they can’t even brag right. No one who is actually wealthy thinks Louis Vuitton or Dior is the height of it. Get back to me when you’re walking around with custom/CITE’d Hermes or a cabinet of Loius Moinets. What’s next, gunna show off their Rolexs? Calm down chuckles.

It’s time, to watch, Clone High!

Apparently the movie weaves together the plots of the first two books, which are about as different as two adjacent books in a series could *possibly* be.

Pretty much 100% of the on camera talent and all the editors I’ve been aware of have committed to not making any videos until things are more equitable.

That said, there were certainly POC centered videos. Not a ton, and there can be more, but Andy, for instance, has an [all too rare] show about going to restaurants of

I spend a lot of time on gaming youtube, forums, news sites, and twitch, and this is literally the very first time I’ve heard of this game.

I’ve enjoyed a few anime movies - the Cowboy Bebop one was top notch, with it’s famously strong dubbing and soundtrack; Redline was able to establish something *so* insane/gorgeous as to register on that scale for me in a way that nothing else has; GitS/Akira are both stone cold classics and paced strongly enough to

That’s true; I just wish there were recommendations which made attempts to resonate beyond the - in my opinion - rather surface level descriptions of setting/plotlines/tone of the show. It’s not like I expect FMA to be BjH, but rather that it seems that for virtually the entire genre of anime (and I’ve seen more than

As someone who doesn’t like anime, none of these seem even remotely interesting to me.

The number one thing I care about in TV is writing and delivery quality. The background events, the plots, whatever; if the writing and delivery isn’t good, I’m hard out. I’ve seen a few episodes of some of these shows (first two

I’ll admit, it’s a little odd. But if I saw a scientist doing that, why would I then doubt their ability to be a scientist? Am I supposed to expect them to be a straight laced scientist at all times? Would their research be worse?

Why would this lose credibility?

Is there a term to make fun of people who gives big established streamers tons of money, regardless of recipient gender? Besides “sad hangers on”, I mean. Honest question.
I’m not going to use it and start riling folks up, but the more I think about those big donos and sub storms for a pittance of attention from

100% of cantaloupe is unequivocally hot garbo and I am both disdainful and distrustful of anyone who claims to like it. It tastes and smells like a rotten version of itself, no matter how ripe or not ripe it is. Akin to eating vomit in melon form. Awful. Just absolutely awful.

Cinnamon rolls never, ever, ever have icing or filling, and this looks sadly to be no different. I don’t want to eat dry, vaguely sweetened bread.

(No, not ever)

When I saw this thumbnail I thought it was Ninja fanart for some reason.

People who point to machine learning as some sort of near term solution don’t understand machine learning, harassment, or dog-whistles. I work in tech, and I’ve worked on projects involving natural language processing/machine learning via text, and there is absolutely no way whatsoever that there could be a program

Yeah, I remember hearing that about MGS4, iirc. There was a lot of furor since it was taking up so much of a [double sided?] blu-ray and people couldn’t believe it in 2008 or whenever the game came out.

As I understand, a pixel delta/neuromorphic camera approach is actually fairly novel, or at least not so widely used that it’s an old hat approach - see, for instance, how Prophesee has to specifically market such a solution for themselves.

Still, I believe that the current issue is, perhaps unsurprisingly, more
